Characters and movement!
IttyBittyRPG » Devlog
Perhaps someday I'll get an audience who will find these post interesting, but even if it's just a note to self, I was able to spend some time coding and added arrow key capture as well as a simple character who can move about in the game. If you wait till after the loading screen pops up and use the arrow keys, you can move a little caveman looking character around. Of course there's no collision detection, but we have the bare simple makings of a game. I'm happy that I can take a few minutes every day or so and make some real progress. If I can convince one person someday in the future to use my game engine, I will know it was all worthwhile.
